Boise, ID — Treasure Valley Coffee continues to thrive under the leadership of President Suzanne Boyer and Vice President Joel Myers, building on four decades of family values, innovation, and dedication to customers and associates.
Suzanne Boyer joined the company in 1999, following in the footsteps of her father and founder, Tom Boyer. Under his guidance, Treasure Valley Coffee earned recognition as Idaho’s Small Business of the Year in 2000 while operating with fewer than 50 employees. Since its founding in 1984, the company has transformed from a local office coffee service into a diversified business with coffee roasting, bottled water delivery, and in-house bottling.
Over her 25 years with the company, Suzanne has led eight strategic acquisitions—integrating four vending companies, two bottled water companies, and two office coffee service companies. She also made the pivotal decision to divest from the bottled water sector, sharpening the company’s focus on its core strengths in micro markets and vending. Today, Treasure Valley Coffee supplies private-label coffee and products to distributors and licensees across fourteen states.
“Treasure Valley Coffee has always been about more than products,” said Boyer. “It’s about serving people—our customers, our partners, and most importantly, our associates. That legacy of service is what my father built, and what we’re committed to carrying forward every day.”
A defining chapter came in 2018, when Treasure Valley Coffee became a Canteen franchise, shortly before the passing of Tom Boyer. Suzanne guided the company through this transition, leading it to record sales in 2019 and steady growth through the challenges of the global pandemic. Today, the company’s sales are at an all-time high, a testament to its resilience and people-first culture.
Supporting this vision is Joel Myers, Vice President, who leads operations and strategy with a focus on efficiency, technology integration, and data-driven performance. A third-generation member of the family business, Joel brings a strong background in supply chain, finance, and information systems, with prior roles at St. Luke’s Health System and Clearwater Analytics. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Operations Management from the University of Idaho.
“Our future is about blending tradition with innovation,” said Myers. “We honor the values that built Treasure Valley Coffee while embracing the tools and technology that keep us competitive for our customers and strong for our associates.”
With record-setting sales and a leadership team deeply rooted in both tradition and progress, Treasure Valley Coffee remains committed to providing exceptional service, world-class coffee, and a thriving workplace for its associates.
